Study results from University of Southampton, Wessex Institute for Health Research and Development in the area of cardioprotection in children published

Current study results from the report, "Cardioprotection against the toxic effects of anthracyclines given to children with cancer: a systematic review," have been published. According to recent research from the United Kingdom, "To evaluate the technologies used to reduce anthracycline-induced cardiotoxicity in children. Also to evaluate cardiac markers to quantify cardiotoxicity, and identify cost-effectiveness studies and future research priorities. Eight electronic databases were searched from inception to January 2006."
