Research results from University of Illinois update understanding of prostate cancer

According to a study from the United States, "Lycopene, the red pigment of tomatoes, is a carotenoid with potent antioxidant properties. Although lycopene may function as a prostate cancer chemoprevention agent, little is known about its effects at the cellular level."
