The St. Baldrick's Foundation Awards $4.5 Million Grant to the Children's Oncology Group

The St. Baldrick's Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising money for childhood cancer research, announced that the organization's largest grant for 2007 will go to the Children's Oncology Group (COG). The grant, which totals $4,520,000, will be used for cooperative research on a national and international scale.

"As federal support for biomedical research decreases, the impact of this award from the St. Baldrick's Foundation is more critical than ever," says Gregory Reaman, M.D., Chair of the Children's Oncology Group.
