Research results from University of Amsterdam, Department of Radiation Oncology update understanding of angiogenesis

A report, "Negligible radiation protection of endothelial cells by vascular endothelial growth factor," is newly published data in Oncology Reports. According to recent research published in the journal Oncology Reports, "Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is a radioresistant tumor. Tumor neoangiogenesis is an important mechanism for tumor sustenance."
