New pediatric in children study findings have been published by scientists at Heinrich-Heine University, Department of General Pediatrics

Current study results from the report, 'Secondary pseudotumor cerebri in pediatric oncology and hematology: an unpredictable condition of varying etiology,' have been published. According to recent research from Dusseldorf, Germany, "Secondary pseudotumor cerebri (PTC) in pediatric oncology and hematology is an unpredictable and under-recognized condition. It is characterized by increased cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) pressure of more than 25 cm H(2)O in the absence of underlying structural causes."
