Study findings from Nanjing Medical University, Department of Neurology broaden understanding of stem cell research

New research, 'The tropism of embryoid body cells for glioma cells,' is the subject of a report. "It has been demonstrated that several types of adult stem cells have a common attribute of tropism for gliomas. In our study, we provided evidence that embryonic stem cell-derived embryoid body (EB) cells also exhibited a tropism for gliomas," scientists writing in the journal NeuroReport report.
