Studies from University of Texas, M. D. Anderson Cancer Center add new findings in the area of breast cancer therapy

Investigators publish new data in the report 'CtIP silencing as a novel mechanism of tamoxifen resistance in breast cancer.' According to a study from the United States, "Acquired resistance to the antiestrogen tamoxifen constitutes a major clinical challenge in breast cancer therapy. However, the mechanisms involved are still poorly understood."
