Research conducted at S. van Eeden and co-authors has provided new information about carcinoid tumors genetics

New research, 'Goblet cell carcinoid of the appendix: a specific type of carcinoma,' is the subject of a report. According to recent research from Amsterdam, Netherlands, "Goblet cell carcinoid is a poorly understood tumor of the appendix. The aim of this study was to determine whether it should be regarded as a separate entity or as a variant of classical carcinoid."
