Studies from Indiana University, Walther Oncology Center have provided new data on hematopoiesis immunology

Fresh data on hematopoiesis are presented in the report 'Chemokines in hematopoiesis.' "Understanding the regulation of hematopoiesis is important for enhanced efficacy of hematopoietic stem and progenitor cell transplantation. Chemokines influence migration, survival, and other actions of hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells," researchers in the United States report.
