Studies from University of Medicine, Diabetes Institute update current data on enzyme research

Scientists discuss in 'c-Src is required for tropomyosin receptor kinase C (TrkC)-induced activation of the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K)-AKT pathway' new findings in enzyme research. "TrkC mediates many aspects of growth and development in the central nervous system. TrkC is expressed in a variety of non-neuronal tissues as well as human cancers," scientists in Korea report.
