Studies from University Hospital, Medical Oncology Department reveal new findings on cancer therapy

Research findings, 'Cetuximab, its clinical use and future perspectives,' are discussed in a new report. According to recent research from Santander, Spain, "Increase in the expression of epidermal growth factor receptors (EGFRs) has been observed in many tumours. EGFR overexpression usually correlates with a more advanced stage of the disease, a poorer prognosis and a worse chemotherapy response."
