New data from University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Cancer Institute illuminate research in squamous cell carcinoma therapy

Researchers detail in 'Immune activation by epidermal growth factor receptor specific monoclonal antibody therapy for head and neck cancer,' new data in squamous cell carcinoma. "To determine if the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR)-specific monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) cetuximab or panitumumab mediate in vitro immune activation against squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck (SCCHN) cell lines. In vitro study," scientists writing in the journal Archives of Otolaryngology--head & Neck Surgery report.
