Study data from Georgia Institute of Technology update understanding of life sciences

Fresh data on life sciences are presented in the report 'Sphingosine-1-phosphate regulates the expression of the liver receptor homologue-1.' According to a study from the United States, "In this study, we examined the role of sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P) in regulating the transcription of the liver receptor homologue-1 (LRH-1) in breast cancer cells. We show that S1P induces LRH-1 mRNA expression in MCF-7 cells in a prostaglandin E2 (PGE2)-dependent manner."
