In this recent article published in the journal Clinical Cancer Research, scientists in Vancouver, Canada conducted a study "To assess the pharmacokinetics, tumor drug accumulation, and therapeutic activity of Irinophore C, a novel liposomal formulation of irinotecan (CPT-11).
