AANS/CNS and BrainLAB Announce Winner of 2008 International Research Fellowship

AANS/CNS Section on Tumors and BrainLAB announced the winner of the 2008 International Research Fellowship. Xiang Wang, MD, from the People's Republic of China, was awarded the fellowship for his proposal, "The Trafficking of Bone Marrow Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells in Brain Tumor Angiogenesis and Stromal Development." Dr. Wang will receive a $50,000 stipend to conduct research in his proposed field of study in the laboratory of Victor C-K Tse, MD, PhD, Associate Professor of Neurosurgery at Stanford University.
