Research from University of Heidelberg, German Cancer Research Center yields new data on cancer therapy

A new study, 'Prediction of broad spectrum resistance of tumors towards anticancer drugs,' is now available. According to recent research published in the journal Clinical Cancer Research, "Drug resistance is a major obstacle in cancer chemotherapy. Although the statistical probability of therapeutic success is known for larger patient groups from clinical therapy trials, it is difficult to predict the individual response of tumors."
