According to recent research published in the journal Urology, "Lymphangiogenesis is associated with tumor progression in various cancers and is regulated by vascular endothelial growth factors (VEGFs). However, little is known about the pathologic roles of lymphangiogenesis in renal cell carcinoma (RCC)."
