Researchers at University of Texas, M. D. Anderson Cancer Center have published new data on cancer therapy

New investigation results, 'Daily bone alignment with limited repeat CT correction rivals daily ultrasound alignment for prostate radiotherapy,' are detailed in a study published in International Journal of Radiation, Oncology, Biology, Physics. In this recently published article, scientists in the United States conducted a study "To compare the effectiveness of daily ultrasound (US)-and computed tomography (CT)-guided alignments with an off-line correction protocol using daily bone alignment plus a correction factor for systematic internal prostate displacement (CF(ID)).
