Acinar Cell Cancer



Study results from V. Hervieu and colleagues in the area of acinar cell cancer published



July 1st, 2008

According to recent research published in the journal Virchows Archiv, "We report a case of acinar cell carcinoma primary to the liver. The tumor was diagnosed in a 35-year-old woman complaining of abdominal pain and asthenia; serum alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) levels were increased at 6,000 IU/mL; imaging studies showed a hypervascular mass located in the left lobe of the liver."
