New data from University Hospital, Department of Oncology illuminate research in cancer therapy

Research findings, 'Cognitive functions and elderly cancer patients receiving anticancer treatment: a prospective study,' are discussed in a new report. "It has been reported that anticancer treatment may cause cognitive impairment. Elderly patients in particular could be at increased risk for treatment-related cognitive deterioration," scientists writing in the journal Critical Reviews In Oncology report.
