Zhejiang University describes research in liver disease gene therapy

Fresh data on liver disease are presented in the report 'Gene therapy: regulations, ethics and its practicalities in liver disease.' According to recent research from Hangzhou, People's Republic of China, "Gene therapy is a new and promising approach which opens a new door to the treatment of human diseases. By direct transfer of genetic materials to the target cells, it could exert functions on the level of genes and molecules."
