Scientists at University Sains Malaysia, Department of Pathology publish research in cervical cancer cytology

New investigation results, 'Comparative study between Pap smear cytology and FTIR spectroscopy: a new tool for screening for cervical cancer,' are detailed in a study published in Pathology. In this recent article published in the journal Pathology, scientists in Kubang Kerian, Malaysia conducted a study "To evaluate Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy as new tool for screening of cervical cancer in comparison with cervical cytology. A total of 800 cervical scrapings were taken by cytobrush and placed in ThinPrep medium."
