Findings from Vanderbilt University in angiogenesis reported

"The transcription factor nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-kappa B) is constitutively activated in many types of cancers and has been implicated in gene expression important for angiogenesis, tumor growth, progression, and metastasis. Here, we show that the NF-kappa B activator, I kappa B kinase-alpha (IKK alpha), but not IKK beta, promotes endothelial cell motility and tumor angiogenesis," scientists in the United States report.
