Investigators at Tianjin Medical University zero in on cancer gene therapy

New investigation results, 'Changes of the alternative splicing variants of human telomerase reverse transcriptase during gastric carcinogenesis,' are detailed in a study published in Pathobiology. "We attempted to reveal the changes of the human telomerase reverse transcriptase (hTERT) alternative splicing pattern in gastric carcinogenesis. Three alternative splicing sites (alpha, beta, gamma) were selected and designed PCR primer," scientists in Tianjin, People's Republic of China report.
