Researchers from Emory University describe findings in adenocarcinoma

"Lymph node status is one of the most important predictors of survival in resectable pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma; therefore, thorough lymph node evaluation is a critical assessment in pancreatoduodenectomy specimens.
