New angiogenesis study findings have been reported from Southampton General Hospital

" We have observed cavitation of lesions in clinical trials of an angiogenesis inhibitor combined with chemotherapy for non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC). We hypothesized that cavitation might alter response assessment in such clinical trials," scientists in Southampton, the United Kingdom report.
