New esophageal cancer research has been reported by scientists at University of Texas

According to recent research from the United States, "Esophageal cancer staging uses tumor depth as the sole criterion for assessment of the primary tumor (pT). To the authors' knowledge the impact of esophageal tumor length on long-term outcome and the esophageal cancer staging system has not been fully evaluated in the current era."
