According to recent research published in the European Journal of Gynaecological Oncology, "This study sought to explore the effects of quercetin on proliferation, apoptosis, adhesion and migration and invasion of HeLa cells. Proliferation and apoptosis of quercetin treated HeLa cells were measured by MTT and Annexin V-FITC/PI; adhesion and migration and invasion of quercetin treated HeLa cells were measured by adhesion assay and wound healing assay and the Transwell chamber method, respectively."
