Reports from Gunma University, Medical Department highlight recent research in cancer

According to a study from Gunma, Japan, "L-[3-F-18]-alpha-methyltyrosine (F-18-FMT) is an aminoacid tracer for positron emission tomography (PET). The aim of this study was to determine whether PET-CT with F-18-FMT provides additional information for the preoperative diagnostic workup as compared with F-18-FDG PET."
