Research from Ruhr University, Department of Dermatology provides new data about basal cell cancer

Researchers detail in 'Preoperative assessment of basal cell carcinoma using conventional fluorescence diagnosis,' new data in basal cell cancer. According to recent research published in the journal Archives of Dermatological Research, "Fluorescence diagnosis (FD) seems to be a promising method for the non-invasive detection of tumor boundaries. We aimed to investigate the diagnostic performance of conventional FD of basal cell carcinoma (BCC)."
