Study findings on immune-mediated disease are outlined in reports from University of Oxford, Department of Public Health

A new study, 'Cancer and immune-mediated disease in people who have had meningococcal disease: record-linkage studies,' is now available. According to recent research published in the journal Epidemiology and Infection, "The mechanisms that cause susceptibility to invasive meningococcal disease are largely unknown, but are likely to have important genetic and immunological components. We postulated that susceptibility to meningococcal disease might be associated with altered risks of development of other clinical disease."
