Research from Shanghai Jiao Tong University has provided new data on angiogenesis

According to a study from Shanghai, People's Republic of China, "Angiogenesis, the growth of new blood vessels, plays an important role in tumor growth and metastasis. Both cetuximab and endostatin have been found to reduce the expression of endothelial-stimulating growth factors such as vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and interleukin (IL)-8."
