Hoag Hospital Certified as Baby-Friendly Facility

Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian announced its designation as a certified Baby-Friendly birth facility, by Baby-Friendly USA, a global program sponsored by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF). Baby-Friendly USA is the U.S. authority for the implementation of the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative, an international program dedicated to recognizing hospital and birthing facilities that offer an optimal level of care and education in lactation.
