Studies from S. Erkilic and co-authors have provided new information about cytology

In this recent report, researchers in Gaziantep, Turkey conducted a study "To investigate the effectiveness of toluidine blue-stained wet films in preliminary cytologic evaluation of bronchial washings. Bronchial washings were obtained by flexible fiberoptic bronchoscopy from 179 patients with suspected bronchial carcinoma."
