"Urine analysis was positive for protein and blood. Metabolic profile, autoantibody screen, and complement levels were normal. Hemoglobin electrophoresis revealed an 41.8% HbS diagnostic of sickle cell trait. Creatinine clearance was normal and proteinuria was nonnephrotic.
