Studies from Taipei Veterans General Hospital, Department of Ophthalmology have provided new data on retinoblastoma in children

Data detailed in 'Retinoblastoma in Taiwan: incidence and survival characteristics from 1979 to 2003' have been presented. In this recent article published in the journal Eye, scientists in Taipei, Taiwan conducted a study "To describe the incidence and survival rate of patients with retinoblastoma in Taiwan over a 25-year period, from 1979 to 2003. Cases of retinoblastoma have been reported to the Taiwan National Cancer Registry (TNCR) since 1979."
