Bristol Royal Hospital for Children details research in myelogenous leukemia

Investigators publish new data in the report 'Granulocytic sarcoma of the small intestine: an unusual presentation of acute myelogenous leukaemia.' "Granulocytic sarcoma is an extramedullary tumor of primitive granulocytic cells. It can develop at any anatomic site and is often a forerunner to the development of acute myelogenous leukaemia," scientists writing in the Journal of the Pakistan Medical Association report.
