Findings from University of Colorado, Department of Radiation Oncology in tissue engineering reported

Current study results from the report, 'Apoptotic cells activate the "phoenix rising" pathway to promote wound healing and tissue regeneration,' have been published. According to recent research published in the journal Science Signaling, "The ability to regenerate damaged tissues is a common characteristic of multicellular organisms. We report a role for apoptotic cell death in promoting wound healing and tissue regeneration in mice."
