Data from Sun Yat-Sen University, Cancer Center provide new insights into life sciences

A report, 'Superficial malignant tumors: noninvasive treatment with ultrasonographically guided high-intensity focused ultrasound,' is newly published data in Cancer Biology & Therapy. "The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of ultrasonographically guided high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) ablation for superficial malignant tumors. HIFU ablation was applied to 38 cases," researchers in Guangzhou, People's Republic of China report.
