Findings in colon cancer reported from Peking Union Medical College

Current study results from the report, 'HERG K+ channel related chemosensitivity to sparfloxacin in colon cancer cells,' have been published. According to a study from Beijing, People's Republic of China, "Potassium channels are essential for the regulation of cell proliferation. As reported, HERG protein is overexpressed in a wide range of human tumors, including colon carcinoma."
