Recent studies by D.R. Spigel and co-authors add new data to clinical trial research findings

Current study results from the report, 'Phase I/II trial of preoperative oxaliplatin, docetaxel, and capecitabine with concurrent radiation therapy in localized carcinoma of the esophagus or gastroesophageal junction,' have been published. "Preoperative chemoradiotherapy is a primary treatment option for patients with resectable esophageal cancer. Combination regimens using newer agents may improve patient outcomes," scientists in the United States report.
