BallenIsles Country Club Gives Boost to Prostate Cancer Research

BallenIsles Country Club has donated $39,500 to the Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF) to support advanced research for finding better treatments and a cure for prostate cancer. The club raised the funds through the generosity of members who participated in an Arnie's Army Golf Tournament supporting the campaign led by Arnold Palmer and benefiting the PCF.

"We are extremely grateful for the effort and generosity of BallenIsles and the Men's Golf Association. In 2009 more than 27,000 men died from prostate cancer and more than 192,000 new cases were diagnosed," said Chris Conway, director of golf programs for the PCF.
