Data on pancreatic cancer detailed by researchers at Maastricht University

New research, 'Active and passive smoking and the risk of pancreatic cancer in the Netherlands Cohort Study,' is the subject of a report. According to recent research published in the journal Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers & Prevention, "To date, cigarette smoking is the most consistent risk factor for pancreatic cancer. We prospectively examined the role of active cigarette smoking, smoking cessation, and passive smoking as determinants for pancreatic cancer."
