Newport Beach Salon Cuts for A Cure And Raises More than $ 3,500 in A Few Short Hours

More than 200 hundred clients were a part of the 'Cut for a Cure' event at Armando - A Joshua Christopher Salon in Newport Beach. The event raised more than $3,500 during the five-hour 'cut-and-style-a-thon.'

"This is my first time getting my hair cut at this type of event and I think they do a great job," says Valerie Everheart. "I'm glad I can support such a worthwhile cause and still get a quality cut."

The salon has partnered with St. Joseph Hospital for the past four years for the annual 'Cut for a Cure' fundraiser. The salon hosted another event in Fullerton at the Joshua Christopher Salon, which raised more than $3,000.
