Data from University of California provide new insights into immunotherapy

"Cancer immunotherapies can be guided by cellular imaging techniques, which can identify the presence or absence of immune cell accumulation in the tumor tissue in vivo and in real time," investigators in the United States report.

"This review summarizes various new and evolving imaging techniques employed for tracking and monitoring of adoptive natural killer cell immunotherapies," wrote P. Jha and colleagues, University of California.

The researchers concluded: "Cancer Res; 70(15); 6109-13."
