Reports outline colon cancer study results from University Hospital

Current study results from the report, 'Capecitabine in combination with irinotecan (XELIRI), administered as a 2-weekly schedule, as first-line chemotherapy for patients with metastatic colorectal cancer: a phase II study of the Spanish GOTI group,' have been published. "Combination chemotherapy is standard treatment for metastatic colorectal cancer (MCRC). The aim of this study was to determine the efficacy and safety of capecitabine+irinotecan (2-weekly schedule), as first-line therapy of MCRC," scientists in Madrid, Spain report.
