The Stop & Shop Supermarket Company and The Dannon Company Donate $75,000 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation(R)

-The Stop & Shop Supermarket Company and The Dannon Company, two partners committed to helping customers live a healthy lifestyle, presented a check for $75,000 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation today. The funds will support efforts to raise awareness and provide early detection programs including free mammograms for women.

"Too many people are affected by breast cancer," said Andrea Astrachan, consumer advisor. "Knowing that there are valuable resources available, seeing more and more how early detection saves lives...it gives us hope."

The donation to NBCF with Stop & Shop is one of several that Dannon will give as part of their commitment...
