Investigators at Keio University, Department of Urology zero in on prostate cancer

2010 DEC 14 -- Current study results from the report, 'Contrast-enhanced ultrasonography of the prostate with Sonazoid,' have been published. "The diagnosis of prostate cancer is based on the results of ultrasonography-guided needle biopsy of the prostate, but cancer foci are often not visible in conventional transrectal ultrasonography. Sonazoid is a new microbubble contrast agent," investigators in Tokyo, Japan report.
