2011 JAN 4 -- "Fine particles of zinc ferrite (ZnFe2O4) and calcium sodium phosphate [NaCaPO4] were crystallized in bulk x (ZnO, Fe2O3)(65-x)SiO(2)20(CaO, P2O5)15Na(2)O (6 <= x<= 21 mol %) glassy matrix by heat treatment. Initial magnetization curves reveal that samples with x=6 and 9 mol % zinc-iron oxide exhibit both ferrimagnetic and paramagnetic contributions, whereas, samples with x>9 mol % zinc-iron oxide exhibit only ferrimagnetic contribution," researchers in India report.
