2011 MAR 29 -- Research findings, 'Sialoadenitis secondary to '''I therapy for well-differentiated thyroid cancer,' are discussed in a new report. "Radioiodine ('''I) is an important therapy for patients who have well-differentiated thyroid cancer. However, '''I may also result in side effects in multiple organs and glands," scientists writing in the journal Oral Diseases report.
